Writers Workshop
FICTION 101: Creating the Perfect Imperfect Character
June 21st
6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Rock Church Building
Room 353
Every character in a book, unless they have a mere walk-on part, should learn a lesson by the end of the story and become a better person because of it.
Whether the character you want to create is a lovable mutt in a children’s story, a battle-weary soldier at Gettysburg, a beautiful but penniless young lady in Regency England, or a starship commander living in a galaxy far, far away, this workshop will help you develop that story simmering inside you.
Join local author, Judy Duarte, for a fun, hands-on workshop that will help you create a flawed but sympathetic protagonist who will jumpstart your plot.
