1:15-2p Detective Sergeant Joe Bulkowski with San Diego Police Dept./Domestic Violence Unit discusses safety planning, how to obtain a restraining order, victim rights, resources that law enforcement provides and how to access them.

11a-2p - Hot dogs will be sold in the Rock Park & raffle prizes

Why should I attend?

  • Between 600,000 and 6 million women and between 100,000 and 6 million men are victims of domestic violence each year.
  • One in four women has experienced domestic violence in her lifetime.
  • Nearly three out of four (74%) of Americans personally know someone who is or has been a victim of domestic violence.

 Please help us raise awareness, increase education, and ensure that no one walks alone in this journey

Cost: FREE and open to the community

*Most appropriate for ages 15 & up, free childcare will be provided in the park
