TOPIC: Acceptance
MATERIALS: Bible, pen/pencil, paper, and 'denial' activity
DISCUSSION: This week we will share last week's creative activity about denial and we will be discussing the topic of acceptance through scriptures and our experiences. The new creative activity on acceptance will be announced in class and will be shared (optional) during the following group meeting. The goal is to express what we have accepted about our abuse and how that is healing in our lives. By being able to express what acceptance means in creative ways we will learn to move forward from our abuse; allowing God to lead the way.
