There will be an opportunity to get baptized on this hike! Please let us know right away if you are interested, as there will be a prebaptism meeting THIS FRIDAY, 9/5 at 7:30pm at the Rock Church.
Carpool meets at 8:00am, leaves at 8:15am
Hike begins at 9:15am
Approximate time: 3 hours
Moderate with easy terrain.
Distance: 6.4 miles (Round trip)
Suitable for dogs and children.
Weather: Hike may be cancel if it rains.
What to bring?
-Good tennis/running/hiking shoes
-Comfortable clothing
-Sunscreen/Sunglasses
-Water/Vitamin water/Gatorade
-Cellphone
DIRECTIONS:
Exit interstate 15 at Scripps Poway Parkway/Mercy Road. Go West on Mercy Road for 1 mile to a T-intersection with Black Mountain Road. Straight across, to the west, is the starting point, the eastern staging area for Los Penasquitos Canyon Preserve.
