Ken Shamrock was born in February of 1964 and has become a world famous and beloved MMA fighter, UFC Champion, UFC Hall of Fame Inductee, Pro-Wrestler and the first Pancrase Heavyweight World Champion in Japan. From his youth, Ken has faced adversity and won. Having lost his childhood to divorce, abandonment, addiction, and violence, it climaxed at the age of ten when he was stabbed multiple times in a robbery. Many foster homes later, Ken was placed in Bob Shamrock's Boys' Home and was later adopted by it's founder at age fourteen. Doors opened for Ken that no man could shut and he continued to excel in athletics leaving people amazed and in awe of his talent and abilities. Some twenty-five years later, Ken now uses his influence as a platform to bring hope to others. Founder of Lion's Den Ministries, a non profit that serves as an advocate for troubled youth and young adults, Ken continues on in the good fight and shares with others what in life, is really worth fighting for.
