Shining Stars, North County Ministry is going to have a table at the BREAK FREE RUN event on September 12th at Mission Bay. The BREAK FREE RUN was established to raise awareness and funds to combat human trafficking. Since 2010, we have hosted more than 12,500runners and walkers, educated more than 8,000 students in the classroom, and supported more than 15 beneficiary programs that provide restorative services to survivors and preventive programs for vulnerable and at-risk youth.
At times, it can be challenging to imagine a world free from human trafficking. Human trafficking can only be stopped if our community takes a stand and commits to DO SOMETHING. We all have a responsibility to help put an end to human trafficking. As a global community, we must join forces and raise funds to create a catalyst for change. Will you do something?
