SISTERS in CHRIST - A special time for WOMEN of the ROCK to Worship, Pray, Study the Word of God, Share Testimonies and enjoy Fellowship and Teaching in a variety of breakout classes. Join us and gain spiritual and practical guidance for everyday living. Meets in the East County Sanctuary from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Please note that the building is air conditioned so you may want to bring a sweater or jacket. Feel free to invite a friend.

This session Karen will be teaching on "Refined by Fire" 1Peter 1:6-7 "In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith - of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire - may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed."

GOING DEEPER INTO THE BIBLE LESSON, Facilitated by Gloria Torres Join this small group for the 8 weeks to dive deeper into Karen Stevens' study on "Refined by Fire” In this group you will have a time of responding to questions and discussing the lesson that was viewed during SISTERS. This will be a good opportunity to meet new friends and pray for each other. 

DEALING WITH DIVORCE, Facilitated by Shirley Lyman If you are divorced or separated and it is still a major factor in your life, let's talk about it. Find relief God's way from anger and depression caused by the divorce and the loneliness that accompanies it. We'll talk about forgiveness and what it looks like to live a Christian single life.  You really can get beyond how you feel now!

BECOME THE WOMEN GOD DESIGNED YOU TO BE, Taught By Gisela Sanchez   You are uniquely designed for a purpose in this world and God wants to use you for His Kingdom.  It’s important to value yourself and “Be the Women that God has Designed You to be”.  This course will teach you what God says about being a virtuous wife, a women after his heart, a women of strength & courage, and one who searches for wisdom while learning about being diligent in all that you do in your life.  Get Empowered by the Holy Spirit & Become the Women God Created You to Be!!

Book Study: GOOD HEALTH GOOD LIFE, by Joyce Meyer, Taught by Rose Sifuentes   Feeling stressed, tired, overwhelmed? Are you putting everyone and everything before yourself? In order to care for your family and job responsibilities, you need to put yourself first and care for the temple God blessed us with. Embracing a healthier lifestyle will help you fully experience all the good things He has in store for you. Together we can discuss Joyce Meyers' 12 keys to enjoying physical and spiritual wellness.

Book Study: STANDING FIRM IN THESE LAST DAYS by Kay Arthur, Taught by Heidi K Sturch  If you long to stand firm in your faith during difficult times and effectively share the gospel and take an in-depth look into the book of Thessalonians then this class is for you… Get drenched in the word and start on your way to becoming a woman whose walk with the Lord is worthy of imitation.

CROCHETING GROUP:  Facilitated by Christa, Jenni & Irena Whether you are a crocheting connoisseur or don’t even know how to hold the hook yet, we invite you to join us!  In this group, we have a few talented Sisters teaching all levels of crochet, while another Sister will be leading short lessons on becoming more Christ-like.  Our goal is to make washcloths and hot pads to donate to those in need while also dedicating ourselves to truly having a Christ-like heart. **A limited supply of yarn and hooks will be provided. If you have your own supplies, we encourage you to bring them.

CRAFTING GROUP: “Inspired By Love” Facilitated by Heather, Kari, Yvonne & Toni  1 Corinthians 16:14- “Let all that you do be done in love.” This special class is all about inspiring YOU to make something beautiful with a loving purpose in mind. Together we are going to have a lot of fun exploring one of God's gifts to us - CREATIVITY. Yes, we all have a bit of creativity within us. We are going to show you how to find it, so you can design and make your own one-of-a-kind custom craft items. The best part is a sweet twist! These projects will be made with love for the purpose of sharing love with others! Each item you make will be made to bless another. ❤
