Thursday Afternoon Class: Selah Balance and Core (Women Only)
Certified Instructor: Hillary Thornton
Standing postures, creative movement and matwork to strengthen and stretch the body's support system -- legs, hips, back and abdominal. Scripture memorization is used as a concentration tool in balances.
Please bring any essential support -- block and/or strap, towel -- these can be used to increase range of motion and assist in posture alignment.
Those seeking balance and core strength are invited! Class will be held in the prayer room at the Rock Church East County.Currently, classes are offered for women only.
Joining us for the first time? Please arrive at 11:00a for an orientation. Individuals may not participate in the exercise class until they have completed an orientation. Items to bring: non-slip exercise mat or large towel, bottle of water, and face towel. Additional recommended items: Bible, journal, pen, and necessary support items.
