Kimberly Dirmann
Born in Colombia, South America to a Foursquare missionary family, Kimberly has ministered throughout her denomination in various capacities. She served as a youth pastor, women’s pastor, and church planter. As the Director of Foursquare Women International she developed the “Dare to Dream” conference and co-hosted a radio talk show. She and her husband Jerry started The Rock Anaheim, a church where they served as co-pastors. In 2009, Kimberly was appointed as the Southwest District Supervisor for the Foursquare denomination. As Supervisor, she oversees 180 churches in the southwest U.S.
Carla Sunberg
Carla became the first woman president of Nazarene Theological Seminary in 2014. As an ordained elder in the Nazarene denomination, she and her husband Chuck served as missionaries in the former Soviet Union. The Sunbergs have served as pastors in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and in 2011 she and her husband Chuck became co-district superintendents of the Nazarene district in East Ohio. She earned the Ph.D. in historical theology from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom, a Master of Arts from Nazarene Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Science from Mid America Nazarene University. In 2012, Olivet Nazarene University awarded her an honorary Doctor of Divinity.
Carla has served on the General Board of the Nazarene denomination along with many other denominational boards. She is past president of the Wesleyan Holiness Women Clergy and currently is a Board member of the Wesleyan Holiness Consortium. She is the co‐author (with Gene Van Note) of Faxes from Russia, as well Reclaiming Eve: The Identity and Calling of Women in the Kingdom of God (co‐written with Suzanne Burden and Jamie Wright) and most recently, co-author with Keri Mitchel of Reflecting the Image. Sunberg was born in Germany, and she and Chuck are proud parents of two adult daughters. Her heartfelt passion is a life of holiness and service for the Lord.
