A light continental breakfast will be provided on Saturday morning (April 22nd).


This course covers the history of chaplaincy ministry, the role and duties of chaplains, and the person of the chaplain.  We will look at the resources and training available for growing as effective chaplains.   The primary resource for this training will be The Work of the Chaplain by Naomi K. Paget and Janet R. McCormack.  It is the focus of this class to provide an appropriate and timely response to community members in the aftermath of a crisis or personal tragedy.

                     *Volunteer with the Trauma Intervention Program of San Diego (TIP San Diego)

                     *Disaster Response Chaplain, San Diego Chaplain Corp

                     *Chaplain:   Billy Graham Rapid Response

                     *Member of Association of Traumatic Stress Specialists (ATSS), International Critical Incident and Stress Foundation (ICISF), and the International Conference of Police  Chaplains (ICPC)

                      *POST/ASIST Training

                      *Over 500 hours of FEMA, CISM, and Homeland Crisis Institute Training

                      *Master of Divinity Candidate, Wesley Seminary, Marion, IN

                      *Bachelor of Science in Education, Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA
