Join the Hiking ministry family from the Rock Church as we hike Blue Sky Ecological Reserve trail to Lake Ramona. It's always a fun time of fellowship and enjoying the beauty of God's creation! Worship will begin at 8:15am so please arrive on time. Hope to see you all there!

Blue Sky Ecological Reserve Trail Hike

Carpool meets at 7:15am
Carpool leaves at 7:30am
Trailhead arrival and worship at 8:15am
Hike starts at 8:30am
Difficulty: Easy to Moderate
Highlight: Oak woodland, coastal sage shrub and chaparral habitats
Distance: 4.8 miles (Round trip)
Elevation Gain/Loss: 800'/800'
Hiking Time: approximately 3 hours
Dog (leashed) and kid friendly.
Weather: Hike will be cancelled if it rains.
What to bring?
- Good tennis/running/hiking shoes
- Comfortable clothing
- Gloves
- Water (at least 2L recommended)
- Snacks
- Cell phone
- Sunscreen/Sunglasses

Directions:
From I-15, take Rancho Bernardo Road exit and head east on Rancho Bernardo Road. Continue as Rancho Bernardo Road turns into Espola Road. Approximately 3.2 miles from I-15 as Espola Road begins to curve south, you will find the entrance to Blue Sky Ecological Reserve on the left.
