Prayer Walk 2018
Rock Your City Events @ Rock Church City Heights will be having a Prayer Walk around the church community. This event will take place on Saturday, March 10th, 2018 from 6:30am-10:30am.
You maybe wondering, what is a Prayer Walk? Prayer walking is all about loving your neighbors and being present in the community, where they live and praying for God's Kingdom to come. It brings God joy when we are out and about, connecting with the people, businesses and neighbors where they spend their lives. It's in these moments we can hear God and allow him to show us his heart for the community and his aspirations for those that dwell there.
This will be a great opportunity to kick -off our annual outreaches for 2018 and continue the love movement our Rock Church family has been sharing for years. Registration and parking will be at the church: 4001 El Cajon Blvd, San Diego, CA 92105.
Join us as we Dial In for the community! Bring your family and friends and let’s share our FAITH with our brothers and sisters while the Holy Spirit do the rest.
Please consider the following:
Ø Wear sturdy, comfortable shoes; jeans and a t-shirt
Ø Bring sun screen, a hat and shades, if necessary
Ø Snacks and water will be provided
The areas we will need volunteers for:
Ø Check-in (help set-up for event and check in volunteers)
Ø Prayer Walkers (praying for event, walking in teams with a leader, and willing to pray silently or with others)
Ø Runners (assist team leaders with tasks)
Ø First Aid (trained and certified medical assistants only, please)
