Toys for Joy

What do the children in your life want for Christmas? Perhaps you already know. Some kids will get many of the things they asked for. Some kids will ask for a single toy and their parents will feel a pang of sadness knowing they won’t be able to provide it. Many families are just trying to find a way to pay for the basics of life – food, housing, clothing. But YOU can make dreams come true and spread joy for children in our community this Christmas! We are seeking individual donations, corporate sponsors, and thousands of volunteers in order to provide a great Christmas for some of San Diego’s struggling families.
In 2018 we were able to provide over 17,000 toys; 7,000 bags of groceries; and 191,200 articles of clothing and shoes to brighten the lives of many San Diego kids. We hope you, too, will be one of the many who experiences the satisfaction of giving to those in need.

Toys for Joy is open to all children and families, no registration is required. One free toy will be given to all children attending the event ages 0 - 11. Free lunch and groceries will be provided in addition to free entertainment, kids' activities, and giveaways. All event sites have accommodations for children with special needs.
