Come join the Rock Church Writers Ministry on Sunday, April 19, 2-3:30 PM, in the Rock Cafeteria, to hear guest speaker Dean Nelson speak on "Why Storytelling Matters."
Dr. Nelson is the founder and director of the journalism program at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego. His 14th book, God Hides in Plain Sight: Finding the Sacred in a Chaotic World, will be released by Brazos Press in September. He has written for Risen, Christianity Today, The New York Times, the Boston Globe, the San Diego Union-Tribune, Sojourners and other publications.
