WHERE: Crown Point (across from Mission Bay)
WHAT TO BRING: Drinks, any food you want to grill, beach chairs, blankets, jackets, toys.
There is plenty of parking, grassy areas, a small beach area and a basketball court. We plan to be somewhere by the beach area (where the fire pits are) and not too far from the basketball court. We will have a basketball and a croquet set so if you have any other fun things to play, please feel free to bring them.
Directions:
From the 5 freeway, exit Sea World Drive
Head west on Sea World Drive until you come to Ingram street
Follow that road around to the right (basically you are driving around Sea World).
Once you have made that turn onto Ingram Street, scoot over to the left
as you want to take Ingram street straight to Crown Point.
Ski Beach is on your right but keep going straight over the bridge.
At the end of the bridge is a stop light, turn right. Follow this road around for about a half mile.
Crown Point is the area on your right. Turn into the parking lot at the end.
