The Jewels for Jesus Tea, Fashion Show, and Silent Auction is a fundraising event to help our ministry raise money to support our outreach ministry to women who are homeless, victims of domestic violence, in recovery from addictions, and in convalescent and retirement facilities throughout the San Diego area. All proceeds from this fundraiser directly benefit the women we serve. We provide each group of women we serve with a multi-faceted interactive outreach experience iwhere team members establish relationships with the women and bring them the message of love and hope in Jesus. We celebrate their beauty and worth, as Jesus sees them. We provide the women with scripture-referenced jewelry packets to remind them that they are precious, treasured jewles in Jesus' eyes and ours. We also bring love, friendship, and the good news through music, music videos, get-to-know-each-other snack and chats, motivational speakers, mirror experiences where they recognizing and acknowledging their beauty and worth. Each woman receives a scripture-referenced keepsake mirror. We also provide gift baskets filled with fun and practical items, and with boutiques where the women select new outfits (including accessories) for job interviews, church, and other special occasions. Each lady receives a forever flower at the close of each outreach. You can be a part of this powerful outerach bringing pervasive hope to these precious lost broken, and hurting women by supporting and being part of our Jewels Tea, Fashion Show, and Silent Auction on February 11, 2012. Ticket sales begin in January.
