The meaning of C.A.R.E.

Compassion
The compassionate, spiritual and emotional support that we provide stems from the heart of our volunteers who have themselves had cancer or have been directly affected by cancer in a personal way.  We understand, identify and relate to those who look to us for support.
Awareness
It is our goal to create awareness among those who are in the position to help cancer patients meet the everyday practical needs that go unmet in their everyday lives.  It is out of this awareness that are service have developed.
Resources
RCC is a community portal of information for cancer patients, and we provide assistance to clients by identifying resources throughout the local community. Individuals needing referral to other agencies also receive that information through our Info & Referral program.
Encouragement
For many cancer survivors, peer support can be helpful during and after treatment. Our Peer Support Program coordinates trained volunteer cancer survivors with individuals to offer support via telephone or email.
