We know God has GREAT things planned for Camp Rock and in order to make that happen WE NEED YOU!

We have lots of opportunities for you to be apart of this awesome experience. Here is a brief description of each of the jobs; please ask God where HE wants you to to spend your Time, Talents & Treasures.

Camp Rock Volunteer Job Descriptions:

Camp Counselor: (all 4 nights required) You will have the opportunity to take a group of kids through the experience of a lifetime! You will be responsible for leading 10-15 kids through Camp Rock Express, Camp Rock Walk, Camp Rock Rec as well as daily chapel and assisting with drop-off and pick-up. You will be building relationships with your kids as you will be their "contact person" from start to finish. 

Camp Counselor Assistant: (youth helpers 13-17) You will assist the Camp Counselor with the tasks of leading and managing the group. You will have the opportunity to build relationships with the kids as well as assisting the Camp Counselor to keep the kids safe. 

Camp Rock Rec Team: This station is for our High Energy volunteers! You will be assigned a Rec station in which you will be helping kids complete the task set before them and enthusiastically congratulating them for finishing the task. These stations will consist of relay races and other high energy outdoor games. 

Camp Rock Express Team: During the "Rock Express" kids will be able to express themselves through various creative arts. This portion of camp consists of painting, music & movement. Assistants will assist children in making sure they have art supplies as well as assisting the lead teacher in the activity. 

Registration/Hospitality/General Runner/Snack Team: This job has many facets. You will be Camp Rocks' first impression. This job includes welcoming kids and parents with high enthusiasm, answering questions,  directing families to registration, helping kids into the Sanctuary to find their seats once they are checked in, passing out snacks, and helping in areas that need a little extra assistance.

"Camp Nurse": If you are a certified nurse, EMT, or a doctor, we need you! This job will consist of patching boo-boo's and administering ice packs to any injured campers. You will also be comforting the kids, praying with them and assessing the severity of the injury.

Sound Tech (experience with sound equipment required): Techs are responsible for providing quality A/V support. You are needed for Drama, Puppets, and/or Kinder Camp Rock. Techs will need to attend rehearsals leading up to the main event and will be contacted by the area leader with the schedule.

Stage Hand: If you like to wrangle props (instead of kids), strike and reset the sanctuary stage during transitions then this is the job for you. You will be needed at rehearsals prior to Camp Rock and will be contacted by the area leader with the schedule.

Hip-Hop Dance Team (Must sign up by May 26th): Express your worship through hip-hop and pop choreography! Weekly rehearsals required; some dance experience preferred. Open to junior high, high school, and adults. 

Worship Team (Must sign up by May 26th): Learn to lead songs from a heart of worship. Involves singing and simple movements; Tuesday night rehearsals required; some dance experience preferred. Open to junior high, high school, and adults. 

Security Team: As part of security your job will be to patrol the grounds making sure kids are safe. You will work directly with our Rock Security Ministry Team.

Mid-Week Serving Opportunity: This will be mostly administrative work the weeks leading to and following Camp Rock. We are looking for a team to assist with data entry, printing name tags, sending emails, mailing packets, and just generally getting everything prepped and prepared for Camp Rock.
