We are blessed to have an amazing special needs ministry with Rock Kids, Point Loma campus! Our team of volunteers include masters level special education teachers, speech therapists, behavior therapists, OT's, PT's, music therapists and volunteers who just love to work with kids with special needs!

Here are some features of our classroom:

Specialized curriculum: designed to incorporate hands on sensory activities. Active learning by keeping in mind each students learning style.

Structured Schedule/Environment: Play and social interaction with peers and teachers. Circle time with music, Bible remember verses and Bible lessons. 

We try to keep our ratios to 1:1 or 2:1

Our heart in this ministry is two fold:

1) We  believe that ALL children can learn about and experience the love of Jesus.

2) We believe that it is extremely important for parents to have the opportunity to attend church service without interruption or constant concern for their child's safety or well-being.
