Men's Ministry

Here is a taste of what is going on at Men of the Rock training men to be spiritual servant leaders and disciples of Jesus Christ...

Warriors Discipleship Ministry -- Weekly.  Open to everyone.  Just come, and bring a friend!  EVERY TUESDAY is Warriors night at the Rock!  We call it Warriors to represent the spiritual battle we're in!  Every Tuesday Night from 6:30 to 8:30 PM men of ALL AGES, young and older, take over the Rock Church Cafeteria to share awesome live worship, powerful teaching, accountability and prayer!  Come on out any and every Tuesday and bring a friend!

IronMen 2 Discipleship Ministry --  Ongoing, year-long curriculum.  Is God calling you to take your walk to the next level??  IronMen will walk alongside you as you step it up!!  IronMen 2 is MOTR's most-challenging flagship curriculum, and it runs for an entire year from March to March.  Pray about joining the next season of IronMen!! 

IronMen 1 Discipleship Ministry (aka IronMen Prep) -- Ongoing.  If you are not quite ready to commit to the challenge and rigors of the IronMen 2 Discipleship curriculum, come to the IronMen 1 at any time and learn discipleship principles that will grow your walk

Shepherds Ministry -- Monthly.  Shepherds is a monthly leadership training and fellowship open to all men.  The subjects covered in Shepherds target those serving in leadership roles in MOTR, including IronMen Discipleship and Warriors Discipleship Small Group leaders, but anyone desiring to grow their leadership skills is welcome!

For Men Only (FMO) Ministry -- Weekly (Tues & Wed).  This sexual integrity group is open to all men and meets regularly on Tuesday and Wednesday nights at the Rock to rescue men from the clutches of this dangerous territory and to heal and change lives.  Men are finding victory through transparency, accountability, prayer and encouragement.  So if you're tired of trying to win this battle on your own strength, let the guys in FMO show you a road to victory through the Holy Spirit!  Come on out!  See the FMO page for more info. 

The Most Excellent Way (MEW) Ministry -- Weekly.  The Most Excellent Way is a Christian solution to chemical dependency: "Becoming God-Dependent".  MEW meets in the library on the 2nd floor of the Rock Church every Thursday from 7:00-8:30.  There is a way out from the bondage and destructive power of these addictions!  For further information on this group pls contact Eddie Olea at 619-987-5712 rbyrn+pbk+arg or Rick Brennan 619-992-5163 evpxfgre5163+ubgznvy+pbz.

First Fruits Prayer -- Monthly.  MOTR gathers every first Saturday morning from 8 AM - 9 AM in the Community Room (off the lobby behind the security desk)

Men's Breakfast -- Monthly.  EVERY FIRST SATURDAY in the Rock Cafeteria, over 100 men come together to start the month with a blessing of live worship, good food, a special message and fellowship!  This is a great way to meet some brothers, be encouraged and see what MOTR is all about.  9:00 AM to 10 AM.  Cost only $10 -- pay at the door!

Men's Retreat -- Annually.  Our biggest event!!  Usually the 3rd weekend in October.  Don't miss out on this annual blessing!
