Short-term mission trips are awesome opportunities for personal spiritual growth. If they are organized effectively, they will leave a lasting impact on the community as well as on the individual missionary. After going on the Costa Rica mission trip with BWO for the past two summers, I can say that they are very effective in organizing these trips. Through their dedication to prayer for each participant, partnership with local Costa Rican churches, and a focus on spiritual matters, we have seen an awesome work of the Lord accomplished in Costa Rica and in our own church group. By joining those who are already reaching out and being used by the Lord, we have seen hurting and hopeless people of Costa Rica make decisions for Christ and get involved in their local churches. It is amazing to see what the Lord can do through a Christ-centered organization like BWO.

In partnering with BWO, we have returned home from mission trips with missionaries whose lives have been changed by being used by the Lord in awesome and effective ways. I enjoyed being in God's will. He blessed me as He used us to minister to poeple. Seeing God move was wonderful. I loved people getting saved and healed. Late in the spring of '07 I had decided I had had enough. I was done with the back & forth, up & down, sin- repent, sin- repent rollercoaster. I wanted to change desperately. I decided to go on a missions trip, so I randomly (or so I thought at the time) selected a trip to South Africa through an organization called Believers World Outreach. The trip changed my life. Those two weeks seemed to fly by as we shared the Gospel with the children and families of the area through drama, VBS, prayer walking, and much more. Most were eager to listen to the message we traveled many miles to share. As for me, God lit a fire in me that still has not been quenched. I have since moved from Hollywood, CA to Tulsa, Oklahoma. For me, this is what I felt I needed to do to continue my progress and hopefully start a new life in the mission field. I guess my mission organization selection wasn't so random after all. God saved me on that trip and I'l never be the same. Praise God!! Scott Taylor

Uganda Summer 2008 Thank you for sharing this journey with me. The staff was amazing, and very well put together. It was a joy to experience everyone on the staff, team, and entire group. I feel so blessed to have shared all of this with you. There is something special about this place and I ask that you all continue to reach out with open arms and hearts to this place, this was an amazing opportunity that I was not supposed to have, but because of your dedication to answer God's call, it allowed for the craziest awesomest raddest 2 weeks of my life. Thank you. God Bless You. See you in a year? (I pray that happens).

This trip was amazing, it truly changed my life in more aspects than one. Thank you for letting Christ use you so that I could be used by Christ as well.

I have been on mission trips with 2 other organizations this one by far was the best. While I despise PB&J and was nervous to give up my passport, I understand the logic behind both and props to God (and you guys) for making it all flow. :)
