Unity 4 Orphans
Orphans Ministry
Our vision at Unity 4 Orphans is to create a movement of both participation and unity between local and worldwide churches, orphan homes, volunteers and Christian organizations.
Our goal is in the prevention and care of orphans through a variety of ministry services, including educational scholarships, child sponsorship, food support programs, short-term mission trips, and specific ministry based projects.
This started in Mexico last summer with the adoption of several orphan homes in Tijuana, Mexico, and has now expanded internationally.
As of May, 2011, in partnership with World Orphans, Unity 4 Orphans began sponsoring a church and its pastor in the city of Juigalpa, Nicaragua, with the purpose of helping to feed 150 impoverished children several times a week.
Nicaragua is the second poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, just behind Haiti. Years of natural disasters, wars and high unemployment have devastated this country. Through Gods grace and provision, a work has started that will be ever-lasting and ever-changing.
We are currently in the planning stages of a mission trip down to Nicaragua later this year to fellowship, feed, evangelize and serve the people of Managua, Juigalpa, Bluefields and La Chureca.
Please keep our ministry team and volunteers in prayer as we continue moving forward to serve a fallen and broken world. Want to get involved in a Worldwide, life changing movement?
