Angel Packs

Angel Packs is an annual backpack and school supply drive that the prison ministry conducts through the Rock Church. The backpacks will be collected and delivered to children who have an incarcerated parent. All of the kids were signed up by their parent, most of whom are attending church services behind bars. These men have turned their lives over to the Lord for forgiveness and are attending Sunday services, midweek Bible studies, and Christian based recovery programs. We want to spread Christ's love, grace and mercy to their kids on the outside. Statistics show that 2 of 3 kids who have an incarcerated parent will follow that parent into jail. We are reaching out to these kids in hopes to break the cycle through the love of Jesus Christ. The backpacks will be provided to these children as a gift from their incarcerated parent, as a way to strengthen and restore their relationship with one another. With Him all things are possible!

This year we are hoping to find individuals, families, or small groups who will sponsor a child with a completed backpack. We will have the names, ages, and grades of a child for you to choose and sponsor. Your donation would include a brand new backpack and school supplies to fill it with. Financial donations, donations of backpacks, and donations of supplies will gladly be accepted as well. Examples of the school supplies needed are as follows:
