"Hey Gurl" was a 12 week series for Junior High girls that covered issues on sex, dating, self esteem, girl politics, love, and other relevant girl topics. Wednesday was the culmination of everything that the girls were taught, finishing with a "purity ceremony" in the Sanctuary. Family, friends and peers gathered to recognize and honor the girls who completed the classes and their commitment to stay "pure" till marriage.

The Men of the Rock took over the Sanctuary on Tuesday night, and what a blessing it was! Man Night saw 2000 men come for praise and worship, and Pastor Miles brought the Word! He challenged the men to be the leaders in their families, work places, and in their communities. It was a powerful evening of fellowship.

The Rock North County family had a chance to preview the new Sanctuary and Church facilities before it opens. It was a time to praise God for His faithfulness and to pray...Pray for family and friends and for the communities around the North County Campus, that the Rock would be a light to those who don't know Jesus in North County.

Supervisor Ron Roberts represents the Fourth District in which approximately 626,000 people reside. Following the service ministry leaders met with Ron Roberts to share ways that they can partner with his office.

It was snowing inside & outside at The Rock this Christmas. The kids were sledding and playing in the snow, families drinking hot cocoa, riding the train and petting the furry animals. Most importantly, hundreds heard the Good News of Christ's coming that we might have in Him! Praise God!

The 2001 Men of the Rock Retreat was another great success. There was great worship from After Eden and Tony Molina & MOTR Worship Band and great time in the Word thanks to Ebo Elder & Tim Elmore. It was a beautiful weekend of fellowship at Pine Valley. Praise God!
