The 4th Annual 1st Fruits New Year's Day Prayer & Worship Service on Mt Soledad was a great way to welcome the New Year. It was a beautiful morning sunrise over San Diego as over 100 folks came to worship and pray in the New Year.

The Rock Academy Men's Basketball season has begun! They started this year's CIF run with the 1st Annual Player Coach Golf Tournament. The rain couldn't stop the guys from having fun and digging up the golf course. Go Warriors!

It was snowing inside & outside at The Rock this Christmas. The kids were sledding and playing in the snow, families drinking hot cocoa, riding the train and petting the furry animals. Most importantly, hundreds heard the Good News of Christ's coming that we might have in Him! Praise God!

In these tough economic times Toys for Joy offers hope and peace to thousands of families in San Diego in the form of toys, clothes, groceries and Jesus! Thanks to the generous sponsors and thousands of volunteers this years event was another blessing to all who came.

Shivers the Polar Bear, from Sea World, came out to greet people at this years Toys for Joy event. He was easy to spot, being over 9 feet tall and white fur coat. Shivers was happy to give lots of hugs to everyone around. Take a look at some of the fun photos....

The 2001 Men of the Rock Retreat was another great success. There was great worship from After Eden and Tony Molina & MOTR Worship Band and great time in the Word thanks to Ebo Elder & Tim Elmore. It was a beautiful weekend of fellowship at Pine Valley. Praise God!

The Rock Academy had their annual Homecoming Dance at the Southbay YMCA. It was a great success and everyone had a grand ol' time.

On Saturday, September 24, 2011, 614 volunteers gathered in Barrio Logan to embark on the Do Something World beautification project.
