Basic Chaplaincy Training (Pastoral Crisis Intervention 1)

This training is certified by the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation www.icisf.org. Church members, chaplains, counselors, mental health professionals and pastors all benefit from these practical guidelines ad strategies for people-care in times of need.

This is the Basic Critical Incident Stress Management course for spiritual care and for chaplaincy ministry.  The course is called Pastoral Crisis Intervention – Level 1 and covers the basics of faith-based ministry to help people in a time of crisis.  This is the prerequisite course for the Rock Community Chaplaincy ministry and is also an important foundational course for anyone who serves in the field of Disaster Response or basic crisis assistance ministry) e.g. Pastoral Ministry, emergency services, law enforcement, counseling, etc.).
