Hello Volunteers!

Rock Cancer C.A.R.E. Is Excited To Announce Our Ronald Mc Donald House (RMDH) Outreach

ROCK THE HOUSE on Saturday, September 14^th!

This is an event in which Rock Cancer C.A.R.E. and other ministries from the Rock make available as many activities as possible to those who are staying at the house.  The goal of this event is to bless the families, make them feel loved, connect them to resources that RCC may have, to support them during a difficult time and most of all this is event is to share Christ’s love and help these families have fun!

The families that stay at the RMDH are there because they have a sick child admitted to Rady Children’s Hospital or the Peckham Center for Cancer and Blood disorders located directly across the street from the RMDH

Shifts Are As Follows:

2 volunteers who are available on Friday, Sept 13^th   to load the van with all the items we need for the next day’s event on Saturday, September 14^th (time is flexible)

Set-Up & 1st Shift from 8:30am to 12:00pm -  Need 18 volunteers

Break Down & 2^nd Shift 11:30am to 3:30pm – Need 18 volunteers

Volunteers Positions Consist Of:

Doing arts and crafts with the children

Being in charge of musical chairs & dance contest

Giving out cancer resources

Giving out prizes

Praying with those who request prayer

Giving out Bibles and encouraging scriptures

Face Painting

Taking Pictures

Being in charge of sack race and other games

Checking in other ministries, volunteers and other organization

Giving out activity boxes to parents who have children in the hospital

And more!!
