Carpool Meet Up: 7:45am
Leave carpool location at 8:00am
Approximate Time: 2.5 hours with a devo at the top
Difficulty: Moderate – dogs are allowed
Distance: 5.5 miles roundtrip with 900 ft elevation gain/loss
Weather: Hike will be cancelled ONLY if it rains A LOT!!
What to bring?
-Good tennis/running/hiking shoes
-Comfortable clothing
-Water/Vitamin water
-Snacks/energy bar
-Cell Phone
DIRECTIONS:
Take the 15 to El Norte Parkway in Escondido. Drive 3 miles East and make a left turn (North) on La Honda Dr. Drive one mile uphill to reach the parking lot at the trailhead.
