Rock Your City Events: City Heights Campus - "The Avenue" Cleanup and Prayer Walk

Rock Church City Heights is partnering with the Corridor Neighborhood Association, Cherokee Point Neighborhood Association, City Heights Community Development Corp (CHCDC), Council President Marti Emerald Council District 9, and City Heights Business Association to do a avenue cleanup of University Avenue. 

Join us in cleaning up and beautifying "The Avenue". This event will take place on June 11th, 2016, from 6:30am - 10am. ALL registration will be located at the Treasure Trove at 3538 University Ave, San Diego, Ca 92104 in the parking off of Wilson Ave (northwest corner).

This is a great opportunity to give back and love on this community through word and deed! TAKE BACK THE CITY and BRING UNITY to the COMMUNITY!

Parking is limited, so please park on the street and walk over to the check in station in the Treasure Trove parking lot.

Below are opportunities where you can serve: 

• Trash pickup on streets and in alleys 
• Weed whacking 
• Landscaping project (For those with physical limitations and children)
• Painting

Things to bring:

• Sunscreen
• Gloves
• Gardening tools
• Weed whackers (gas powered)
• Wheel barrels
