PET Talk Pet Photography (San Diego Campus)

Join us for a lecture and discussion about pet photography with San Diego Humane Society staff photographer and San Diego Pets Magazine, Managing Editor, Casey Dean. 

You will learn strategies for working with dogs and cats to capture stunning images while keeping your model safe, happy and engaged in the shoot. 

Casey will go over proper aperture, shutter speed, ISO, natural lighting vs. flash, and general composition rules and much more. 

Additional topics will include working with the equipment you have, shelter animal photography, and tips for capturing animals in action. Special guest, Allison Shamrell of Allison Shamrell Pet Photography (www.AllisonShamrell.com), will discuss professional tips and tricks for on-location dog photography. 

Cost is $10 per person and includes materials, light snacks, and non-alcoholic refreshments. Space is limited.
