The Freedom Center is a place for survivors of human trafficking and sexual exploitation to receive holistic support, safe shelter, and practical services. The 4,000 square foot facility will include an intake room, counseling rooms, and various spaces to meet the holistic needs of trafficking survivors.
Freedom Center staff will be available 24/7, providing food, shelter, and clothing along with services such as trauma-informed mental health treatment and job training. Case managers will also be available to connect survivors with medical, legal, and educational resources. By offering transitional housing and other resources to trafficking survivors, the Freedom Center will help fill a critical gap in our city.
