On October 27th we will be hosting a “Let’s Rock America – Vote 2012" event. The purpose of the evening is to learn about what the Bible says about the issues on the ballot and where the candidates stand. Our country is at a critical crossroads and this is one of the most important elections in our history.
The evening will feature guest speakers:
DR. WAYNE GRUDEM, professor and author of Systematic Theology, one of the best known theology books in the world, and his newest book, "Politics According to the Bible." This book not only considers today’s most pressing issues, but also details the purpose of civil government and how Christians might best influence government. Dr. Grudem will be discussing some of the hard questions that Christians face when dealing with politics.
RANDY THOMASSON, president of SaveCalifornia.com. Randy thrives on equipping and inspiring concerned citizens to embrace and promote Godly moral virtues in their homes and communities. During the event, he will be equipping you on how you can make a difference in your community to affect the election.
CRAIG HUEY, coordinator and speaker for the Election Forum and JudgeVoterGuide.com.
He has led Election Forums to review the ballot in churches throughout
Southern California since 1998. Craig will be reviewing the ballot
including the presidential candidates, the propositions, the judges, the
San Diego candidates and more.
AUDREA TAYLOR, President and Co-founder of im2moro.com. Audrea will be the event emcee. She is a high school sophomore in San Diego, California. im2moro is a movement led by young people who realize that if they don’t speak up today, they will be living in a very different America tomorrow – an America with limited freedoms and a dulled spirit. That’s why they are determined to speak up and stand out to protect the liberties and principles that made our nation great.
