Our employees’ health is important to us. Health benefits, including medical, dental, and vision, are available for all full-time employees.
Rock Church provides paid time off for our full-time employees. This includes paid vacation days, paid holidays, and sick time.
In addition to regular paid time off (such as vacation and sick days), personal days are also included. We also provide paid time off on the employee’s birthday as well as their anniversary (either their wedding anniversary or their hire date, if not married).
For those employees who choose to participate in our 403b retirement program, the Rock will make a matching contribution on behalf of those full-time employees.
The Rock Academy is a big part of the Rock Church community. It is K-12 private, Christian education. For full-time employees, their children can attend the Rock Academy for a discount.
All of our staff members, from Rock Church, to the Rock Academy, to the thrift store and book stores, have the opportunity to attend various staff events. These include our monthly Big Wednesday staff enrichment day, annual retreats, and Christmas party.
Spiritual and mental health is important. For our full-time employees who seek professional counseling, a reimbursement will be given for these services.
We understand that many of our team members use their phone services for work purposes. The cell phone reimbursement is given to our full-time employees who have a cell phone with a data plan and intend to use their phone for work reasons. This is a partial reimbursement.
Personal health and fitness is a priority. A partial reimbursement is given to full-time employees who have a gym membership.
Rock Church provides an employee assistance program that offers various guidance resources online. This includes help with finding counselors, lawyers, financial planners, child care providers, etc. There are also numerous wellness options, including health and stress assessments, wellness coaching, and more. It’s also a place to seek guidance about workplace issues, relationships, and growth.
Within the church there are a myriad of exciting jobs needed for supporting our charge to Save, Equip, Send. We work to reach people with the love of Jesus outside the church and help people inside the church to have strong relationships with God.
At our K-12 school located at our Point Loma campus we are raising up the next generation of young Christians who point others to Christ, take leadership positions and become loving neighbors, citizens and parents.
The Rockpile Bookstore and Rock Thrift Store offers resources for growth in all aspects of faith. Members of our retail team are an important part of the Rock’s interface with members of our church, visitors and seekers.
