Now
that the days are longer, it's a great time of the year to take a late
afternoon/evening walk! A perfect way to unwind after a busy day.
This
adventure is a 4-mile guided hike through colorful canyons and the best
part? It's just minutes from Downtown! During this adventure, we
experience two spectacular footbridges that overlook pristine canyons
filled with wildflowers, cactus, palm trees and bamboo forests. The
neighborhood's quiet streets are filled with gorgeous homes and amazing
architecture. This two hour tour starts on the outskirts of Balboa Park
where there is plenty of free parking.
At the end of the tour,
our guides will lead you into the nearby neighborhood where you'll get
the scoop on all the trendiest restaurants.
This tour goes at a comfortable pace. Comfortable walking shoes with good treading is highly recommended. You should also bring sunscreen & a hat. Children
must be at least 7-years-old and be able to handle walking for a couple of hours.
Note-
This tour takes you on carved out trails in two canyons that are very
safe and easy to navigate. Participants will walk over two footbridges.
The walk is approximately 4 miles.
