Rock Church is embarking on a new event this year with a “Journey into Bethlehem.” This interactive experience is great for the family and friends of all ages. Visit us at the Point Loma Campus where we will transform the Lobby into a Live-Action Bethlehem Marketplace and a Living Nativity that will highlight Christmas Music Favorites.
Enjoy food trucks and games before entering the sanctuary where you will witness a live performance featuring the story of Jesus' birth. Once in the lobby after the show, you will be gifted with a pouch full of coins to help pay your way through the Bethlehem Marketplace. These coins are part of the live-action experience, so watch out as you may be forced to pay the state taxes enforced by Roman guards. During your visit you can get your hands dirty with the potter, spend time with a baker, and interact with the townspeople; ask them about their trades, discover their name and story, and learn more about this little town of Bethlehem.
