Join the Hiking Ministry to hike for a cause against Human Trafficking. We are joining the San Diego Freedom Center United for Freedom Movement raising awareness and funds to eradicate human trafficking in San Diego and beyond.

We're hiking the west side of Mission Trails Regional Park from the West Fortuna Trailhead at the end of Clairemont Mesa Blvd. in Tierrasanta. 

Due to ongoing construction, we'll meet by the intersection of Clairemont Mesa Blvd. and Rueda Drive at 5:15 p.m. The adventure begins at 5:30 p.m., so please arrive on time. Hope to see you there!

Park on Rueda Drive near the trailhead. You will see plenty of cars parked on the side of the road.

Please self-evaluate your hiking level before going on this hike.

Hike starts at 5:30 p.m. sharp

Itinerary: 

•  Difficulty: Moderate+ with hills
•  Highlights: Sunset, worship in God's Creation
•  Distance: 3.5 miles (round trip)
•  Elevation Gain: 500'
•  Hiking Time: approximately 2 hours
•  Dogs (on leash) and kid friendly.
•  Weather: Hike may be cancelled if it rains.

 What to bring?

• Good running or hiking shoes
• Comfortable clothing, bring layers as it will get cool
• Hat or visor
• Hiking Poles (optional)
• Water (at least 1 liter recommended)
• Snacks 
• Headlamp or flashlight in case it gets dark
