Sunset Cliffs Sunset Hike

What better place for a sunset hike than Sunset Cliffs? The Hiking Ministry will do just that on Sunday, Aug. 23 at 5 p.m. We'll enjoy a time of fellowship and witness the beauty of God's creation overlooking the Pacific Ocean!

Our adventure will be about 3 miles with an elevation gain of about 200 feet.

We'll meet at the Sunset Cliffs Natural Park sign at the corner of Sunset Cliffs Blvd. and Ladera St. (700 Sunset Cliffs Blvd.) There is limited parking in the dirt lot inside the park or you can park on the street.

This hike is moderate! Please self-evaluate your hiking and fitness levels before attempting this hike.

You are welcome to go at your own pace, it will be your responsibility to complete the journey if you fall behind the group.

You must sign the Rock Church waiver form to participate in this hike. Forms will be available at the event.

 What to bring

• Good running or hiking shoes
• Comfortable clothing, bring layers as it will cool down
• Hat or visor
• Hiking Poles (optional)
• Water (at least 1 liter recommended)
• Snacks
