Neighborly is hitting the streets of Normal Heights and hosting meet & greet gatherings throughout the week of April 29 to May 2.
This town is divided by Adams Avenue, the north side is upper middle class and the Southside is working class, lower income and poor. Neighborly does not see class but a community in need of unity.
We are on a mission to break the awkward silence amongst neighbors and hosting meet & greet socials right on the street. Starting at 6pm each night, our goal is to get two neighbors to meet and have at least one local business sponsor food each night.
It's important that a community feel they are valued by the establishments in their neighborhood. Some of the participating businesses are Tam's Thailand Restaurant, De Mille's and Momma Mia.
If you are a resident of Normal Heights living on W. Mountain View, Felton St, 32nd or 35th, come stop by. Exact locations will be provided with RSVP only as these events are intended for the residents of theses neighborhoods and are not public events.
