Aftershock is a support group that offers a safe place for those who have lost someone to suicide to talk openly and honestly about their loved one’s death. Families are thrown into a whirlpool of emotions. Many families are shunned by friends and co-workers when they hear that they have lost someone to suicide. We want them to know that there are others out there who will encourage them through their grief, teach them to lean on God, and help them turn to God’s Word so they know that God never lets go of them. God can use their pain and loss to help others.
Aftershock meets the 2nd and 4th Thursday* of the month, 6:30-8:30pm in room 344. The cost for the group is $25 to cover class materials, book and journal.
We will use God’s Word to help overcome the pain and guilt, and learn about forgiveness.
