Food Drive 2013

Be a SUPERHERO as we join forces with the San Diego Food Bank in an attempt to collect 30,000 pounds of food which would provide 20,000 meals to hungry people right here in our city. Help us meet our goal and spread pervasive hope to San Diego!

Donations will be collected every Sunday in May before and after services to help the San Diego Food Bank prepare for their summer months when the need is great and the donations are low.

Bring canned food any (or every) Sunday in May and drop them off in the red barrels in the Rock Lobby!

Most needed items:

-canned meats/nuts/seeds/fruit/vegetables/juices

-peanut butter

-macaroni & cheese

-beans, dried fruits

-evaporated or powdered milk

-pudding/custards, pasta, rice

-baking mixes

-dry cereal

-cleaning supplies

-paper products

-diapers

-personal hygiene products

-detergents

Take it one step further -- dress up as a superhero and hang out at the donation truck on MAY 19th (8AM-1PM) in Rock Park to bring attention to the food drive and encourage people to give generously.
