The Rock is partnering with the San Diego Rescue Mission for this year's Thanksgiving Outreach. This is a great opportunity to live out the love of Jesus Christ to homeless people in San Diego.
There are 3 ways you can get involved:- Drop off donations of food and clothing in Ministry Alley at SDSU on Sundays. Specific donations needed are turkey vouchers, backpacks, towels, diapers, t-shirts, phone cards, and bus tokens.
- Volunteer for the banquet. Arrive at 1 PM for startion assignment as we and help feed 1000 homeless people, and then provide them with clothes, toiletries, showers, haircuts, etc.
- Be a part of the Special Operations Team. Arrive at 12 PM and be sent out to feed and share the gospel to other homeless in the city.
This would be a great thing for your small group to do. Take advantage of it.
