Want to join our Gown Caravan?
Share Ministry & friends will be meeting on Thursday, April 27 in Santee to load donated prom gowns into our vehicles to deliver to Operation Fairy Godmother!
We will be meeting around 4:15 p.m. and then leaving by 4:30 p.m. to go to La Mesa First United Methodist Church, 4690 Palm Avenue, La Mesa, where we have been invited to help set up the Operation Fairy Godmother Boutique. This wonderful event, a project of the Soroptimist International of Valley de Oro, blesses girls (who can't afford prom wear) with beautiful gowns and accessories.
The actual gown giveway will take place:
Friday April 28 - 4 to 7 p.m.
Saturday April 29 - 11 to 4 p.m.
Girls just need to bring their student ID cards.
