Date: Thursday, October 20, 2016

Time: 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM

Location:

San Diego Humane Society (Oceanside Campus)

572 Airport Road Oceanside, CA 92058

For many of us, our pets are family members and we give them the best care possible. Because of this care, including advances in veterinary medicine and nutrition, our four legged family members are living longer and longer.  And with the aging of our pet population comes a number of diseases and other health issues that were once relatively rare but now are commonplace.

Oceanside veterinarian, Dr. Bob Cartin, has practiced veterinary medicine for over thirty years.  In this presentation, Dr. Bob will cover many of the most common health issues facing our canine and feline senior citizens, including obesity, dental disease, arthritis, kidney problems and cancer.  Not only will you learn how to recognize and treat some of these problems in their early stages, but more importantly, you will learn about steps you can take, even with young and middle age pets, to help prevent some of these conditions. www.missionanimal.com

Cost is $10 per person and includes materials, light snacks and non-alcoholic refreshments.

Please note all classes are for people only - please leave your great pets at home. Space is limited. Pre-register by calling (619) 279-5939 or RSVP online.
