Join the Hiking ministry family from the Rock Church as we hike Lawson Peak. It's always a fun time of fellowship and meeting new people. We'll do a short devo at the top and enjoy the beauty of creation! There is even an opportunity for you to do a little rock scrambling at the top through a cave…(this is optional of course.) Hope to see you all there! We also want you to save the date for a hike on December 30. Details coming soon.
Be Unselfish Like Christ – “But he gave up his place with God and made himself nothing. He was born as a man and became like a servant.” Philippians 2:7 NCV

Exit Interstate 8 at highway 79/Japatul Valley Road near Descanso. Follow Japatul Valley road south for 5 miles (A right from the freeway) and then turn left on Lyons Valley Road. Proceed 4.9 miles south to the trailhead. There are two small turnouts for parking near mile marker 13 on Lyons Valley Rd. Parking is limited and since it is on the side of the road, we highly recommend carpooling with the group or with friends.
