Men of the Rock Church will be hosting the So Cal Big Mans Breakfast at the Allen Airways Flying Museum located at Gillespie Field in El Cajon Ca. 92020. This year's event will be serving up another great Big Man's Breakfast and will be joined by three Professional Athletes as special guest speakers. The aviation museum is one of the coolest man caves you have ever seen and you will be setting in the middle of Allen Airways Flying Museum hangar while you enjoy great Tri-Tip accompanied by bacon, hashbrowns, pancakes, and eggs breakfast. Oh yeah donuts and coffee will be there to warm you up. There will be many motorized vehicles displays, ventage aircraft displays, first responder and military apparatus. You will also have an opportunity to win some amazing prize giveaways.
Men and Father/sons will enter into the venue viewing displays of all kinds walking through over 15 sponsor booths, enjoy a great breakfast at 8 AM and a table seating that is inside the Allen Airways Flying Museum hangar floor. Their will be exciting door prizes and raffle man prize opportunities. You will get to hear three professional Athlete's speak about living life as a career professional athlete sharing adventures and experiences.
This years event our Master of Ceremonies will be; Marcus Preciado. Marcus will be hosting and interviewing professional Athletes as our guest speakers:
BIO: Marcus Preciado serves as Executive Director of Cielo Sports, a San Diego based ministry whose mission is to "Share God's love to and through athletes". He also produces and hosts "The Yard" a popular weekly podcast featuring christian professional athletes.
Marcus was born in Panama the son of a Special Forces, Green Beret. As an Army Brat, he grew up bouncing back and forth in between Panama and North Carolina. He eventually finished his last years of high school in Santa Barbara, while his father was a professor of Military Science at UCSB.
In 1990, he attended San Diego State University, where he played football, studied business, and met his wife Tracey. Marcus spent the first part of his professional career in the corporate world effectively leading sales teams at industry leading companies such as Enterprise Rent-a-car and Owens Corning.
His last ten plus years were spent at the Rock Church, where he had a dramatic impact on the ministry and community as Director of Sports. Marcus oversaw 30+ sports ministries, and founded SUPERFEST, the county's premiere sports outreach. His final role at the Rock was as the Campus Pastor of the Point Loma campus. He loved training and overseeing the staff while supporting the 500+ volunteers, and encouraging the 6500+ attendees of the Sunday services.
Marcus and Tracey have four children whom they love supporting. Their oldest son Diego, is currently a freshman at Stanford where he studies Mechanical Engineering and plays football. Their oldest daughter, is preparing to attend Westmont College to further her education and play soccer.
