Toys for Joy is still happening! Though, due to COVID-19, this year's Toys for Joy will look very different. We will be working with our current school and agency partners to distribute toys and groceries to a number of families that they serve.
This year, there will be a drive-up distribution of a large box of groceries for each household and a toy for each child (ages 0-11) present in the vehicle. The bag in which the toy comes will also include other treats and surprises. Each family will also receive resource referrals, next steps, and a message of hope at Christmas that they can watch at home.
This is our 24th annual Toys for Joy, and though it looks different this year, we still need your help! Below are opportunities for you to get involved and make a difference in the lives of families this Christmas season.
With safety in mind due to Covid-19, we will be purchasing toys for you for our attendees. With each toy at a wholesale cost of $7.50, you can buy toys for 10 children for only $75.00!
Families are in critical need of food this season. $30 will provide a balanced meal and more to feed a family of four, retailing at a value of approximately $80. A gift of $150 will feed Christmas dinner and more to five families.
There are many opportunities to serve at Toys for Joy, from grocery distribution, toy packing and distributions, guest and volunteer check-in, hospitality, prayer, and more. Sign up today!
Toys for Joy would not be able to provide the toys and necessities it does without the help of community-minded businesses. Not only does this partnership benefit the families of Toys for Joy, but businesses can also reap high-level returns with the sponsor benefits packages that are available.
