RSVP to hike@sdrock.com

Join the Rock Church Hiking Ministry family as we safely reopen the Hiking Ministry. We will hike to beautiful Stonewall Peak in Cuyamaca Rancho State Park. It's always a fun time of fellowship as we enjoy the beauty of God's creation!

Please RSVP to hike@sdrock.com so we have a headcount.

Depending on how many join us for this hike, we may divide into smaller groups.

This hike has mild switchbacks, a set of stairs to the peak, and breathtaking 360 degree views at the top. This is one of the most accessible peaks in San Diego County. Hope to see you there!

To provide a safe environment for hiking, please have a mask with you and social distancing protocols will be strictly followed. We are representing the Rock Church and we want to set a good example and be good stewards in God's creation. Failure to follow protocols will result in the Hiking Ministry shutting down. If you are not feeling well, we invite you to return for our next hiking adventure.

We will travel to Cuyamaca Rancho State Park and start our adventure at the Pasa Picacho Campground. We'll cross SR-79 and begin the climb to Stonewall Peak. After the first semi-difficult hill, the switchbacks are moderate until we reach the final approach, in which we will climb the stairs to reach the peak.

If there is enough interest, we may venture to Julian for pie and coffee,

More info on the hike can be found here.

See a map of the park here.

Parking at Casa Picacho Campground costs $10.
