Do you have a desire to see human trafficking eradicated in San Diego and beyond for good? We know that trafficking can feel like an overwhelming and pervasive issue, but there is something you can do right now to help. Exercise. That’s right! During the month of August, join us for 31 days of movement to help raise awareness about human trafficking. We are compelled by the belief that human trafficking can and will be eliminated from our city. But it will take all of us!
Whether you are an avid walker or runner or prefer to get moving in a different way, you can help raise awareness about human trafficking and the San Diego Freedom Center by participating in the United for Freedom Movement Campaign! You can walk, run, jog, swim, hike, cycle, do Zumba, commit to a plank challenge - you name it! Whatever you choose, you get to set your own goal and invite others to partner with you through fundraising or choosing their own form of movement.
The United for Freedom Virtual Walk will take place throughout the entire month of August. All participants who sign up to fundraise through our Classy platform will receive a free t-shirt plus other fun incentives!
$100 fundraised = Custom Freedom Center Track Bag
$300 fundraised = Custom Freedom Center Water Bottle
$500 fundraised = Stylish Freedom Center Hat
Additionally, participants are invited to join us for local group walks throughout the course of the month and a virtual celebration at both the beginning and end of the month!
