Join us for an awesome sunset hike at Iron Mountain! We'll hike to the peak, stop to worship, eat,
re-hydrate and enjoy the 360-degree views. A beautiful sunset at 7:16 p.m. will highlight our trip back down the mountain.
You are encouraged to bring a flashlight or headlamp. It will get dark on the return trip.
This hike is difficult. There is a challenging uphill climb for the first 1.5 miles before it levels off for about a mile. At this point, the remainder of the hike will be uphill via switchbacks. The average time from trailhead to the top is over one hour. You are free to hike at your own pace, however, it is your responsibility to complete the hike if you cannot keep up with the group.
Please self-evaluate your fitness and hiking levels before attempting this hike. Kids and are not recommended for this hike. Dogs (on leash) are permitted.
No carpool is available for this hike.
