Join us as we travel to the North County to hike Double Peak from Discovery Lake in San Marcos.

This 4.1-mile hike will start at Discovery Lake/Lakeview Park. After a 967-foot elevation gain, the summit will feature spectacular, 360-degree views. There are picnic tables and restrooms at the summit. The moderate+ level trail is well maintained and fairly even. To honor everyone's time, the hike starts at 4 p.m. sharp.

Please self-evaluate your hiking and fitness levels before attempting this journey. You are welcome to hike at your pace. However, if you fall behind or miss the start of the hike, it will be your responsibility to finish the hike.

You must sign the Rock Church waiver form to participate on this hike.
