Coyote_Canyon01.jpg

Come join us at our first official ministry event at the Lower Coyote Canyon trail in Borrego Springs. This will be an overnight event in the open desert for those who wish to camp. Invite your friends and come on out. Please note that due to weather and trail conditions, this event may change. This is a Moderate rated trail which has soft sand, a tough rocky climb and potential deep water. High ground clearance and skid plates recommended. Most beginning drivers should be able to complete this trail in a stock, 4-wheel drive SUV (All-wheel drive not recommended). There are primitive toilets and picnic tables at the camp site for those who wish to stay overnight with us. We may also do a short night run down and back up the water crossing. We will return the next day starting at about 9:00-10:00am. We will be meeting at the XL Co gas station in Borrego Springs at 9:00-9:30am to do trail prep and leaving shortly after at about 9:45. Those who wish to caravan up can meet the group at the CVS pharmacy on E. Valley Parkway in Escondido at 7:00-7:30am promptly. Please RSVP by May 13th and include where you will be meeting the group initially limited camping space is available.
